Whether you are a professional builder, a contractor or a person wanting to learn new skills and meet some amazing people, we hope you all join us! - Read the Volunteer Orientation Manual

- Sign up for shifts with the Build Volunteer Coordinator (once the application has been received you will be connected with the coordinator)
What does volunteering on a build include?
- Work site hours are 8:30-4:00 p.m.
- Due to possible extreme weather conditions, it is very important to be prepared and to dress in many layers. You will be spending most of the day outside!
- Upon arrival, please make sure you sign the attendance log. Make sure that a hard hat and safety shoes are worn at all times.
- All volunteers are required to attend the daily tail gate safety briefing at 8:45 am!
- Work is assigned by the Construction Supervisor; assignments are based on needs for the day, volunteer skills and abilities. Volunteers are never asked to perform tasks that are unsafe. We try hard to pair inexperienced volunteers with a more experienced volunteer.
- All tools, equipment and supplies are provided for the day. This includes safety boots and hardhats.
- Morning snack, drinks and lunch are provided for the scheduled volunteers.
- Please make sure to sign up before heading home with our deep appreciation and gratitude for sharing your time and support with us.
